The King-of-Saxony Bird-of-Paradise lives in New Guinea in cloudforests. 

Description[]

The male of this species is a jet-black bird with yellow markings on its flight feathers. Its eye is a dark brown and the inside of its mouth is a striking teal blue. Its chest is yellow and its flanks are white, and it has scalloped, iridescent silver-blue eyebrow plumes that the bird can raise and lower at will. The female is much drabber and she is a dark mousy brown and her belly is tan and heavily spotted with dark brown-black.
